Dec 23rd 2002 -- Aegir CMS now has a Mozilla 1.3 compatible WYSIWYG content editor available in the development version.
The editor aims to provide simple WYSIWYG capabilities for all platforms Mozilla runs on (Linux, Windows, Mac and others), and possibly also work with IE browsers. Aegir CMS will continue to also include the MS Word compatible editor for Internet Explorer.

MUNICH Dec 19th 2002 -- The Midgard development team has now released a new stable version of the Midgard Content Management Framework.
The new release includes many bug fixes, and also two important functionality enhancements for Aegir CMS users:
Deleted objects should now be replicated properly between staging and live
The "Nadmin Studio" event functions are now part of the Midgard release, so patching Midgard to support Aegir CMS is not needed any more

released the third public beta of the Aegir CMS Open Source Content
Management System.
Aegir CMS is a full-featured Content Management System built on the
popular Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) platform powered by the
Midgard application server.
Aegir CMS is derived from the succesful Nadmin Studio codebase. The
application is licensed under the Artistic License-derived "HKLC
Nadmin Studio Interface" License.

ESPOO, Dec 11th 2002 -- The Aegir CMS project has chosen a new logo based on votes on logos submitted to the Aegir CMS logo contest.
The winning logo is Tony Lee's "tonio-all" image which shows Aegir's background in the Norse mythology utilizing waves and a trident in the logo imagery.
The top three logo proposals in the contest were Tony Lee's "tonio-all" (30%) and "tonio-aegir" (25%), and Jim McHarg's "mcharg_aegir" (20%).
